Screaming Frog’s SEO Spider is the desktop program running on every technical SEO’s machine. It crawls a site the way Google does and surfaces broken links, redirect chains, duplicate titles, missing metadata, orphan pages, structured-data errors, and JavaScript rendering issues, with hooks into GSC and analytics APIs. How much does Screaming Frog cost?

The licence runs for a year and does not renew by itself, so nothing is taken from your card automatically. The free version costs nothing and crawls up to 500 URLs. Is Screaming Frog free?
Partly, and the free version is not a trial. It is the same program, it crawls up to 500 URLs per crawl and it has no time limit, which is enough for most small sites. Crawling past those 500 URLs, plus the features Screaming Frog lists only in the licence column of its pricing page, is what the 199 pounds buys.
Is there a monthly Screaming Frog plan?
No. Screaming Frog sells the SEO Spider as a yearly licence only. The $23.25 a month shown on this page is that yearly price divided by twelve, so it can be lined up against the subscription tools in our price index. You cannot actually buy a single month.
Is there a Screaming Frog discount code?
There is no public coupon. The only discount Screaming Frog publishes is on volume, and licences are counted per user: 199 pounds each for 1 to 4 licences, 189 pounds each for 5 to 9, 179 pounds each for 10 to 19 and 169 pounds each for 20 or more, all per licence per year. Does the Screaming Frog licence include the API?
Yes. The licence column on Screaming Frog’s pricing page lists the Search Console, Google Analytics and PageSpeed Insights integrations, so there is no separate Screaming Frog API price on top of the licence. Some of those connections still need your own account with the third party, and the free version does not include them.
